David Goubeaux
Executive Director
A veteran in strategic business leadership, David brings keen financial, marketing and team-building skills to River Rock. With a focus on providing world-class service in all aspects of the residence by going the extra mile and doing the “one extra thing” (like leaving a mint on the pillow or singing with the group by the fireplace), David’s additional goals include empowering our already dedicated staff in ways that allow them to create joy, happiness and vitality in the lives of our residents. And, he wants everyone to know that he believes in making dreams come true – whether it’s a summer balloon ride or visiting the crest of a mountain!
Joining the River Rock team in 2011 from the Resort Lifestyle Communities at Reflection Ridge in Wichita, Kansas, David has a passion for working with seniors while ensuring health, safety and an abundantly high quality of life for residents he considers family while planning those “dream come true” moments!
Liz Goubeaux
Life Enrichment Coordinator
An expert in physical fitness, social hours, special occasions, and all around fun, Liz is always busy looking for the next activity for residents. Building individual plans for exercise and core and strength training, her emphasis is on evaluating each resident’s abilities and taking them to the next level! Whether it’s fitness or brain games, Liz focuses on personalized care – and fun – while nurturing hearts and special relationships along the way!
Susan Olson-Miller
Health Care Coordinator
Susan Olson-Miller is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of varied nursing experience that includes ICU, oncology and orthopedic hospital nursing. A former small business owner and military veteran, Sue brings a wealth of medical knowledge, especially from her service in Desert Storm as a member of the Army Nurse Corps attached to a mobile evacuation hospital. She joined River Rock health team in December of 2008 and became the Health Care Coordinator in 2010, a position she values and enjoys. Sue considers it a privilege to be part of River Rock’s health team as they enhance and enrich the lives of the residents.
Andy Heffron
Marketing Director
With extensive experience in marketing along with national recognition and awards, Andy Heffron understands well the value of brand identification. He brings a creative approach to the care of our senior citizens and like other members of the team, sees the residents as family. Andy is active in Rotary, Toastmasters and the Chamber of Commerce and is involved in rodeo and performing cowboy poetry. He and his wife, Sue, have three children.
Ross Baker
Maintenance Director
With over 25 years in the construction and building industries, we can count on Ross to keep everything running smoothly at River Rock. His additional experience as a maintenance engineer provides him with valuable knowledge about the physical well being of the residence, and we’re grateful to have him on our team. More importantly, Ross has had many “grandparents” at the residence over the years with whom he enjoys and treasures his interaction. Known to play games with the residents, or entertain them by playing the piano or guitar, Ross is treasured by our River Rock residents and their families as well.
